16 Stadiums Across Three Nations

World Cup 2026 uses 16 stadiums spread across Mexico, the United States, and Canada — the most venues ever used in a single World Cup. Each offers a completely different experience. Here are the ones that matter most.

1. Estadio Azteca — Mexico City, Mexico

The most historic stadium in football. Capacity: 87,500. Two World Cup Finals (1970, 1986), the Hand of God, the Goal of the Century. Playing at altitude (2,240m) creates unique conditions — the ball moves differently, players fatigue faster, and home teams have a significant advantage. The atmosphere for Mexican matches is unparalleled.

2. MetLife Stadium — East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA

Host of the World Cup Final. Capacity: 82,500. Located 20 minutes from Manhattan. The largest stadium in the tournament and the site of the most-watched sporting event in human history on July 19. If you can only attend one match, make it here.

3. SoFi Stadium — Los Angeles, USA

The most modern stadium in the tournament. Capacity: 70,000. Indoor climate control, stunning architecture, and the LA experience make this a unique venue. Los Angeles hosts the Death Group (France and Brazil) — meaning this stadium will host two of the three pre-tournament favourites.

4. AT&T Stadium — Dallas, USA

Capacity: 80,000. Known as Jerry World. One of the largest domed stadiums in the world with a retractable roof. Dallas hosts the USA vs England group match — one of the most anticipated fixtures of the tournament.

5. BC Place — Vancouver, Canada

Canada only stadium in the tournament. Capacity: 54,500. Retractable roof, waterfront setting with mountains visible. Hosting Canadian matches creates a unique atmosphere — Canada playing in their first World Cup since 1986 in front of their home crowd.

Best Value Stadium Experience

Group stage tickets at smaller venues (Kansas City, Cincinnati, Seattle) offer the best value — lower prices, easier access, and often more passionate local atmospheres than the mega-stadiums. The football is the same quality regardless of venue size.
